Kingdoms & Empires
Middle-Kingdom Also known as "Lancaster", the Middle-Kingdom is a human city. Many places of it is rubble, yet to be rebuilt after the dark years of Tartorious. But in other places it can be beautiful, filthy and grand.
Athanerin Beyond the forests of the Woads are more beautiful, less-threatening forests. Tall trees covered in dew and ferns form miles of rainforest, which eventually turn into Oaks and civilization. This is the home of the elves.

Marwol Tir Welsh for "Deadly Land", Marwol Tir is strictly woad territory. Thick with dark and foggy forests, it stretches for miles above Athanerin and Lancaster. Any non-woad who steps here is sure to meet their end within minutes.

The Wilderness
Rainbow Hills This is a beautiful, misterious place. It drizzles constantly, however, there is always a rainbow. The hills pastures are lush and green, with a stream winding through the gullies.

Illyin Forest This forest is almost as big as Marwol Tir, but is dotted with rocks and arrayed with cliffs. It is home to faeries and nymphs alike, not to mention many other unwanted forest dwellers. Although beautiful, its dangerous.

Claior Cliffs From an ancient language this was named, but from which is not known. The cliffs overlook the ocean, which churns in a deadly way below. One slip and its the end of you.
The Ocean This is the home of the mermaids, and those brave sailors who dare to cross the waters. So many have lost their lives here against the Claior Cliffs. Deadly it is, but those who are smart enough will not fail themselves.

Ruins of Cristehull This place is said to be haunted by the ghosts of Tartans, and only the foolish venture here. Now occupied by shades, the place of the Battle of Lorthe has fallen into shadow. Despite this, some people still believe this is where the sunflowers grow.

Cyfor River This river, when it rains, floods easily. It is stock full with fish, and is a popular place to fish. Sand-banks however, stop larger ships from coming down this channel.

Golden Plains This place is well named, for its green grasses turn a beautiful gold at dawn and dusk, matching the color of the sun. It is a peaceful place, with unicorns, pegasi, centaurs, and the rare sighting of a Pegacorn - if you are lucky.

The Wastelands Across the wastelands, you will find no form of life, plant, animal or human. Dark and dreary clouds hang over the dry and rocky plains, and it is always hot, sticky and humid. But it never rains. In other words - very unpleasant.

Shorgar Lake In Shorgar Lake, there are beautiful fish, swaying plants and many other none threatening animals. It is on the edge of Athanerin, and its crystal clear waters are a great invite to swim in.

The Moors The Moors are basically swampland and marsh that stretches on for miles, reaching the mountains. The water in this swamp is always freezing, but you wouldn't go in there anyway. Bad things have happened to those who did.

O'tarath Pass O'tarath Pass is really a mountain range stretching for thousands of miles in the eastern most part of Lorthe. On the other side are the badlands, a nation of sand - nothing but wastelands. O'tarath leads to no where, only death.
